Once you purchase an animal you have the following options:
1. Custom Harvest
You pay the full bid price
Select your processor from the pre-defined list
Livestock Committee delivers animal to the processor
Contact the processor on Monday with cutting and packaging instructions
You are responsible for picking up your meat and paying all processing costs.
Enjoy your home raised meat
2. Buyback
Sale Committee will buy back the animal at market (floor) price
You pay only the difference between the market price and the full bid price (your bid)
No other arrangements are necessary

4-H Market lamb-Exhibitor, Doc is 12 years old, and he is in his first year in 4-H. He is a member of the Trailblazers 4-H Club in Westcliffe, Colorado, located in Custer County. He chose to take a market lamb project to the 2020 fair. His lamb is a wether and his name is Clark. Clark has been a great lesson for me in responsibility and commitment. He has spent a lot of time working with Clark this spring and summer, and he looks forward to being able to show him at the Custer County Fair.
