Once you purchase an animal you have the following options:
1. Custom Harvest
You pay the full bid price
Select your processor from the pre-defined list
Livestock Committee delivers animal to the processor
Contact the processor on Monday with cutting and packaging instructions
You are responsible for picking up your meat and paying all processing costs.
Enjoy your home raised meat
2. Buyback
Sale Committee will buy back the animal at market (floor) price
You pay only the difference between the market price and the full bid price (your bid)
No other arrangements are necessary

4-H Market Lamb - Exhibitor, Jake is 13 years old, and he is a 3 year 4-H veteran. He is a member of the Trailblazers 4-H Club in Westcliffe, Colorado, located in Custer County.
He chose to take a market lamb project to the 2020 fair. His lamb is a wether and his name is Samson. Samson has been a great lamb to work with. He enjoys 4-H because each year he has taught new skills and I believe it helps me grow as an individual. I look forward to showing Samson at this year's fair.
