Green Velvet & Gold Embossed 1979 Romandale Sale Catalog donated by Roger Turner & Brenda J Lee The final catalog from this storied Holstein sale series was originally gifted to Roger from Bert Stewart (Kelly Stewart-French) when he and his wife Hazel moved from their home in Hornby to Fergus, Ontario. Bert was on sale staff that day along with icons R. Peter Heffering, Bob Shore, Harry Wilcox, Sonny Bartel, Horace Backus, C.M. Bottema Jr., Thomas E. Hayes and Senator Harry Hayes. At this sale, Lot #1 was Romandale Telstar Brenda that sold for $66,000 and Lot #4 was her son by ABC Reflection Sovereign who broke a world record that day, selling for $400,000 to Japan. This catalog is in mint condition and opens with 20 pages of Romandale Farms history, owned by George & Steve Roman.
